Mother’s Day Ceramics & Clay Workshop

Join us for a fun afternoon with DNA Wine Lounge & spirits to toast, getting your hands dirty creating with clay to celebrate Mother’s! Make something functional and unique to use daily, or give as an original gift! You can choose to make a cup, mug, bowl, plant holder, plate or spoon holder.

The lounge will be closed to the public during this private Mother’s Day clay workshop for a more intimate setting. Make it a date with your Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, daughter, son, lover or friend! You do not have to be a Mother to attend! Stay after for food & more spirits once the lounge opens to the public at 3pm!

In this workshop, you will learn wedging and hand-building techniques for clay. Each piece will be glazed with food-safe glaze and will be functional art that can last for years! Come be a part of this workshop to get your drink on, and create a handmade piece!

Included is instruction by Carey Shaw, clay, tools, glazing examples (the paint of clay), and the cost of 2 firings (the baking of the clay)-bisque and glaze firings! All materials will be provided, as well as one glass of complementary DNA hand-curated, family-owned wine. You can delight in a complimentary glass of wine with Mom, friends, family or lovers and get your art on!

You will need to leave your piece to fully harden & become bone dry, to be fired, glazed, and fired again. Carey will text you when your pieces are ready for pickup at DNA Wine Lounge. They will be fired, glazed, and ready to use!
